Warming-up
Game: pass the ball
设计意图:激活身体部位的表达。
反思:传球游戏比较浪费时间,且现场不容易控制。我认为可以改成“我比你说”,一个同学在讲台上指自己的身体部位,全班同学参与抢答,能快速地调动全班同学的学习积极性。
Lead-in
设置情境,引出目标语言。
— What’s the matter (with sb.)?
–I have a cold/….
反思:该教师创设的情境是“I have a sore throat because I drink cold water yesterday”, 然后让学生表达What’s the matter (with sb.)?但是我认为情境创设缺乏真实性,因为学生当时并没有不舒服,所以有待商榷。

看图说话,引出目标单词和句型。
T: What’s the matter with him/her?
What’s the trouble with…?
What’s wrong with…?
S: He/She has a cold/stomache/sore throat/fever/ toothache/ headache/ cough/ sore back/sore neck/ cut himself.

反思:教师这里的提问方式值得学习,转换练习第三人称。
Discussion
1. If there is something wrong with our bodies, what should we do? What shouldn’t we do? (pair work)
2. Give advice according to problems (healthy & mental). ( group work)
反思:我认为没有必要补加mental health, 因为前面没有相关的输入,35mins. 课堂容量有限。
Homework
Write an e-mail to your foreign friend Lucy/Tom, who has some health problems. Give him/her some advice on how to live a healthy life.

优点:
1. 听了三次,每次关注不同的信息;
2. 听完对话后,先让学生讨论再提供problems, 学生能够更好地输出。
待讨论问题:
1. 做游戏效果不太好,建议用身体部位的图片,导入新知。可以问:what’s the common problems with…?激活学生已有生活经验,为后面学习做铺垫;
2. 创设真实情境要说真好。可换成:If we drink cold water, what will happen?
3. 在pair work(1c)中应该创设讨论情境;
4. 压力不属于mental problems,注意措辞。
